Parametrized Vector Fields and the Zero-Curvature Condition

Mitchell Rothstein
Dept. of Mathematics, University of Georgia, Athens, GA 30602, U.S.A.

We apply the notion of a parametrized vector field on a manifold M, where the parameters are also in M, to the study of the zero-curvature condition that arises in the context of integrable systems.

Keywords: Vector field, zero curvature condition, integrable system.
