The geometry of a Jordan domain $D$ is encoded in properties of the homeomorphism $h\colon\partial \B \to \partial \B$ induced by conformal mappings of $D$ and~$D^*$ onto the unit disk $\B$. We illustrate here how $h$ can be used to study quasidisks. Keywords: Quasidisk, conjugate quadrilateral inequality, harmonic quasisymmetry, cross ratio. MSC 2000: 30C62.
